Bio:
Lalo Galvan was born and raised in Mexico City. At the early age of Eleven he began taking private guitar lessons and it was not until he turned Sixteen years of age, when he began his formal studies at UNAM University (National Autonomous Metropolitan University). Lalo made Guadalajara his home city Twenty three years ago and has continued studying with masters like Scott Henderson, Dana Rach, Enrique Nery, just to name a few.
He has worked as a session musician for several studios and artists in almost all genres. He has collaborated in several Rock, Blues and Jazz protects including playing New Age with the Morelia Philharmonic. His work has also extended to several movies and short films where he has composed the music for the film "Todo el Poder" ( (Translated in English as :"All the Power" ).
As a solo artist, which started in 2000, and has also shared the stage with Alex Acuña, Waldo Madera, Marco Mendoza, Brandon Fields, Renato Neto and a few others. As a jazz guitarist he has experimented with smooth jazz, jazz standards, fusion, nu-jazz and acid jazz. The most important stages in Guadalajara and in some states in Mexico and the US have seen Lalo perform. These days, besides playing with passion his music from his 3 records, he dedicates his time to music production and teaches a Diploma of popular contemporary music production in Guadalajara.
